Role:

As a sales manager, the main activity is to acquire new consignors in the assigned sales area, to convince them to offer and sell their used cars via the Manheim Express B2B auction platform.

The Sales Manager is responsible for advising the dealer on which vehicles can be sold via the platform and how they are priced correctly in order to be successfully marketed.

Furthermore, the Sales Manager advises existing customers on process optimization in the B2B used car business via Manheim Express.

Customers of the Sales Manager are small and medium-sized brand dealers as well as professionally positioned independent automotive dealers

The activity takes place to a large extent in the field, so that customer visits and appointments are planned and carried out independently in the interests of the company.

Skills & Experience:

  • Completed commercial vocational training
  • Several years of sales experience
  • Several years of professional experience in the automotive sector
  • Knowledge of the used car passenger car and commercial vehicle market and our competitors is desirable
  • Good knowledge of German and English
  • Convincing communication skills and negotiation skills
  • High service mentality
  • Strong sales-like thinking and acting
  • Proven persuasiveness and determination
  • Ability to confidently deal with difficult customers and adapt to a fast-paced working environment
  • Very good stamina and high degree of self-motivation
  • Organizational talent
  • Willingness to travel
